The virgin suicides was a pretty amazing film. Despite the fact that it was slightly disturbing, it managed to be a very good 'teen' horror film.
It's the story of five teenage sisters who are forced into an almost recluse-like environment by their strict mother. However, as the 14-year-old named Lux (Kirsten Dunst) matures, she becomes very interested in boys.
This need for social communication is only amplified when her sister, Celia, attempts suicide. A chain of events follow as Celia succeeds and lux convinces the parents to let her go to the prom with school heartthrob, Trip Fontaine (josh hartnett in one of his better roles).
All in all, the virgin suicides is a very good film, definitely worth seeing.
