J-14: Josh Hartnett A shy guy deals with Superstardom

There's no doubt that Josh Hartnett is a serouse hottie, as well as a super-talented actor. He's been making your heart race since you saw him in The Faculty, and he secured his movie star status with his romantic role in the epic film Pearl Harbor.
But did you know this awesome actor, who was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesoata, is one of the shyest guyes around?
"It's still something I deal with," he says. "I became an actor because I love studying people. I never felt comfortable in the spotlight. When I was younger, I was kind of spacey, doing my own thing- I honestly never particularly intrested in being the center of attention ."
Josh better get used to being the center of attention - he's starring in a slew of big movies due out next year. In January, JOsh will star in 40 Days and 40 Nights, playing a guy who gets dumped by his girlfriend and decides to give up women for lent.
Next comes O, the modern-day telling of Shakespere's Othello, where Josh plays the villanious lago. In March 2002 comes Black Hawk Down a gritty Veitnam war flick.
